The Exuma Cays consist of 365 islands, the largest of which is Great Exuma, located near the Tropic of Cancer and are just 35 miles southeast of Nassau.  The Exuma Cays offer a unique Bahamian experience in a secluded paradise. Enjoy footprint-free beaches, water as clear as gin - it's the Bahamas at its natural best. Cowrie Beach House is located on Little Exuma, a 12 square mile island connected to Great Exuma by a bridge, just 45 minutes from George Town (GGT) international airport. The list of activities available in Exuma is infinite. Choose from boat trips, bonefishing on the flats, spear and deep sea fishing, scuba diving, kitesurfing, paddle boarding, kayak safaris, snorkelling, or the simple pleasure of discovering a beautiful beach all to yourself.  On land there are golf, tennis, yoga/massage classes, historical sites from the salt trade in William's Town, beach combing and of course a multitude of delicious restaurants from which to enjoy some local fare.  At the house, you will find a comprehensive list of recommended activities which will be sent in advance of your stay should you wish to get things organized ahead of time.
